Mike is the Managing Director/Partner of KPMG Deal Advisory in Taiwan. He has accumulated approximately 20 years of professional experiences in the M&A field. He has focused on providing M&A financial advisory services, especially for private companies/family businesses on the sell-side to cross-border buyers or private equity houses.
From financial modelling, corporate valuation, to M&A advisory and deal strategy development, Mike has successfully led the execution of M&A cases as a lead advisor and managed groups of different professionals (including legal, financial, transaction structure, valuation, human resources, information system, etc.) to complete a number of M&A projects and participated in more than 80 M&A transactions in total.
Mike’s industry experience encompasses consumer sectors, retail, high-tech, electronic components, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, automotive, packaging materials, industrial products, agricultural ,family businesses and overseas private equity funds, etc..
Mike has received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto, and MBA Degree from Schulich School of Business, York University. He is a CFA Charterholder. He has previouslu worked in the bother Big 4 in the similar M&A field for over a decade and in the banking field while he was in Toronto for about 5 years.
