Jerry Chu joined KPMG Taiwan in 2005. Prior to joining KPMG, he accumulated extensive experience at leading domestic financial institutions, where he was involved in a wide range of assignments including mergers and acquisitions, group restructuring, capital market transactions, financial due diligence, and financial planning.
During this period, Jerry played a key role in the establishment of financial holding company structures, the execution of acquisitions of other financial institutions, and the issuance of equity-linked capital market instruments. Through these engagements, he developed solid hands-on experience in corporate finance planning and M&A execution.
Since joining KPMG, Jerry has successfully advised corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions as well as financing activities. From 2008 to 2014, he also served as a key leader of KPMG Taiwan’s valuation team.
Jerry has extensive experience in business valuation projects, including full enterprise valuation, impairment testing, purchase price allocation, and the valuation of corporate intangible assets.
