Waylon Chang is the tax Partner of KPMG in Taiwan. He has professional experiences. He has been involved in Tax advisory services for multinational groups in the areas including: transfer pricing, corporate investments and operational structuring, tax audit assistance.
Waylon received his Bachelor Degree of Public Finance from National Chengchi University, He is a R.O.C. Certified Public Accountant and Certified Public Accountant, Australia.
Professional Service Experience
- Waylon Chang joined KPMG Taiwan in 2007.
- Waylon seconded to KPMG Shanghai and Shenzhen offices as senior tax consultant in 2009 and 2014, respectively. During his time in Shanghai and Shenzhen offices, Waylon worked on TP documentation preparation and audit assistances for various clients both domestically and internationally.
- Waylon's areas of expertise involves assisting Taiwan large-scale enterprises and foreign MNC to deal with global investment structure, business model planning as well as consultation service of business tax; including tax risk assessments, transfer pricing planning, tax dispute resolutions and conducting administrative remedies.
- Waylon works closely with KPMG China and teams in other countries on various international tax projects, such as the first Bilateral Advance Pricing Agreement (BAPA) between Taiwan and Japan and unilateral APA with China.
