You are cordially invited to attend this KPMG Executive Briefing on:

Getting to know and embracing TCFD (The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)

Climate change presents financial risk to the global economy. The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) was established by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) to focus specifically on business disclosure of how climate change affects financial performance now and in the future. This will help companies to understand, assess, mitigate climate risk and lay out strategies to address climate change challenges.

In January 2021, the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (Thai SEC) has declared support for the TCFD by becoming an official TCFD supporter. Thai SEC wants to raise awareness and encourage business sectors to incorporate climate-related risks into their strategic planning and risk management, and follow international standard disclosure guidelines.

The key panel discussion points will be as follows:

  • Identify opportunities and risks to strengthen the company's ability to address climate change challenges
  • How to align financial disclosures with the TCFD recommendations
  • Q&A session with our panelists
