KPMG acted as the buy-side advisor and successfully advised Czech-based IT company Seyfor, previously known as Solitea, on the acquisition of a 100% stake in the Slovak company Commander Services, which focuses on GPS monitoring of vehicles.

Seyfor a.s., formerly Solitea, is one of the largest software companies in Central Europe. It is based in Brno, Czech Republic, and its majority owner is the Slovak private equity company Sandberg Capital. The company develops business systems enabling its clients to better manage their daily operations and legislative obligations. It has over 1,600 employees in 7 countries and serves clients in 38 countries worldwide. Seyfor is the largest manufacturer of accounting and ERP systems in the Czech Republic and belongs among important suppliers also in Slovakia. In recent years, it has made a series of acquisitions in the European ICT sector.

Commander Services s.r.o.

Commander Services s.r.o. offers services in the field of monitoring, guarding vehicles and with a focus on evaluating information about cars in real time. The company was founded in 2005 and is currently the leader in the GPS vehicle monitoring segment with a market share of 30%. It has four branches in Slovakia and two in the Czech Republic. Last year, it posted sales of 6.4 million EUR and its EBITDA was 1.6 million EUR.

Seyfor's long-term vision is to provide automation and make internal processes more efficient. The vehicle monitoring service will be brand new in its offer, and acquisition of the leader in this segment will significantly strengthen Seyfor´s position on the Slovak and Czech markets.
