Bureau of Internal Revenue
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Bank Bulletin No. 2026-01, 06 January 2026, to remind all Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) of the following:
- Accept tax payments on 28 March 2026 and 11 April 2026, since 4 April 2026 falls on a Black Saturday.
- Extend banking hours up to 5:00 PM from 01 April 2026 to 15 April 2026.
- All accepted income tax payments shall be reported in the Batch Control Sheet (BCS) as collection for the following working day:
- Payments received on 28 March 2026 → reported as 30 March 2026.
- Payments received on 11 April 2026 → reported as 13 April 2026.
- Machine validation of the Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) in the deposit slip for the tax payment received shall be on the date of the actual receipt of collection.
