Bureau of Internal Revenue
The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued an Advisory on 15 April 2025 relative to the electronic filing of any tax returns through eBIRForms Package v7.9.4.2. Taxpayers are advised of the possible reasons for the delay or non-receipt of system-generate email confirmation from eBIRForms.
The Advisory also provides instructions to follow in case the system-generated email confirmation is not received
Additionally, the Advisory also reminded taxpayers that only assigned Revenue Collection Officers (RCOs) within the Revenue District Office (RDO) premises shall accept cash payment up to PHP20,000.00 or check regardless of amount, payable to the “Bureau of Internal Revenue”. RCOs assigned in municipalities shall not accept any tax payment, regardless of tax type, and shall instead direct taxpayers to pay at the RDO.
