The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued Bank Bulletin No. 2024-1, dated 20 February 2024, to remind Authorized Agent Banks (AABs) to open two (2) Saturdays prior to 15 April 2024 Annual Income Tax Return deadline (i.e., 6 April 2024 and 13 April 2024) and accept income tax returns/payments from 01 to 15 April 2024, following the extended banking hours up to 5:00 P.M. for the said period.
