Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

On 28 February 2019, the SEC issued a memorandum on the implementation of the requirements of the new General Information Sheet (GIS) under SEC Memorandum Circular No. 17 series of 2018. Submission of the new GIS containing the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure page is deferred to 30 June 2019.

On 28 February 2019, the SEC also issued a notice on the effectivity of Republic Act (RA) No. 11232 or the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines. Following the publication in Manila Bulletin and the Business Mirror on 23 February 2019, the said RA took effect on 23 February 2019.
