Arvin is a Partner at R.G. Manabat & Co. He joined the Firm in June 2011 and was assigned toaudit engagements with clients in various industries including trading, manufacturing, energy,and construction. In July 2015, he joined the Technical Advisory Group of the Firm’s Departmentof Professional Practice (DPP) and is currently the Group Head.
In DPP, he provides technical consultations and knowledge updates on financial reporting,sustainability reporting and auditing standards. He performs pre-issuance quality control reviewsof financial statements of audit clients in non-financial services sectors such as consumergoods, real estate, energy, healthcare, hospitality and entertainment, as well as in financialservices sectors such as banks, insurance and financing companies. He serves as a panelmember in the conduct of risk management meetings for covered audit engagements includingthose classified as high risk and audits of public interest entities.
He is a resource speaker for internal and external trainings on International Financial ReportingStandards, International Standards on Auditing and local regulatory requirements relevant tofinancial reporting. These included external trainings organized by professional and businessorganizations such as the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Association ofCertified Public Accountants in Public Practice, and the Bankers Institute of the Philippines.
He currently represents the Firm as a member of the Philippine Sustainability ReportingCommittee.
