Ruby joined KPMG in 2007 after passing the Certified Public Accountant licensure exam, and she has remained with the firm since then. With 15 years of experience in tax practice, she specializes in Global Mobility Services (GMS), providing personalized tax advice to clients across various industries. Her expertise includes offering technical support on intricate issues related to the cross-border taxation of expatriate employees.

Additionally, she actively participates in reviewing compensation and benefits arrangements, as well as international policies for multinational clients. Her responsibilities extend to the completion of Philippine tax returns for individuals, ensuring employer withholding compliance, and providing guidance on international social security tax, equity/share-based compensation, terminations, tax treaty exemptions, and other related matters.

In 2017, Ruby completed a three-year assignment in KPMG London, where she honed her specialized technical skills and gained invaluable insights into the complexities of global employee mobility. During her tenure in London, she diligently familiarized herself with the intricacies of the United Kingdom (UK) tax system, taking the lead on UK-specific tasks such as personal tax return preparation and tax consultations.
