Markent has over 15 years of extensive audit experience. He directs audits in compliance with auditing standards and recommends improvements in accounting practices, processes, and internal controls for clients. He reviews financial statements and income tax returns, prepares reports on special projects, and communicates with KPMG offices and other auditors on matters handled through the KPMG Manila Office.
Markent has worked with clients on Initial public Offerings (IPOs), internal control over financial reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and review engagements. He handles financial audits and reporting for publicly listed entities, as well as the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) and the Board of Investments (BOI) registered entities.
