Florizza C. Simangan is currently an Audit and Assurance partner at KPMG R.G. Manabat & Co. She leads the audit of various financial institutions such as insurance companies, banks, trust corporations, financing companies, and fintech firms, among others. In 2018, Flor was honored with the Chairman’s Award for Excellence, an accolade bestowed upon employees who demonstrate exceptional technical skills, global behavioral capabilities, adherence to KPMG values, and a strong business development mindset.
Additionally, Flor heads the Financial Services Academy for Insurance and conducts internal and external trainings on topics such as IFRS 17. She serves as a subject matter expert in insurance advisory work and is an active member of the technical working group related to insurance matters, both within and outside of KPMG.
Flor joined KPMG in 2012 and possesses over twelve (12) years of work experience in external audit. She has been extensively involved in auditing insurance companies as well as various other industries.
