In March 2025, the Dutch Corporate Governance Code was amended to include the Verklaring Omtrent Risicobeheersing (VOR), or “statement on risk management.” The VOR in our view is not just a formal statement, but a catalyst for reflection, dialogue, and transparency around risk management within organizations.
