Lawrence is partner at KPMG’s Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS). He joined KPMG in 1997 in the assurance practice and became senior manager at CMAAS in 2010.
As partner, Lawrence is responsible for financial accounting and reporting advisory services. He is characterized by a hands-on and client-oriented attitude combined with a positive can-do mentality. He combines technical expertise and experience with transparent communication. Due to a secondment at Department of Professional Practice and accounting developments lead at CMAAS, he has gained in-depth knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards, both IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
Lawrence leads GAAP conversions, implementation of new accounting standards, ad-hoc accounting advice, accounting manuals and training programs.
Furthermore, he is author of several KPMG publications, including: IFRS compared to Dutch GAAP: an overview.
