Jaap leads the Energy Sector within KPMG the Netherlands and advises clients and governmental institutions on energy and infrastructure related topics.
He has more than 23 years of experience in merger and acquisition practice (deal advisory) within KPMG Netherlands and, in addition to financial due diligence, he is also the primary point of contact for advisory services in the field of integration and separation of service issues in transactions. Within deal advisory he is also responsible for the Energy & Infrastructure team within deal advisory.
He joined KPMG in 1997 and was named a partner in 2002.
Jaap has helped many international corporate clients with cross-border deals and has a great deal of knowledge of the infrastructure, energy market, government-related transactions, agricultural sector and industry and IT sector.
