Caroline Nagtegaal-van Doorn

Caroline Nagtegaal–van Doorn is Lead Partner at KPMG Advisory in Rotterdam and responsible for the mainport region. Together with her team, she focuses on a wide range of advisory challenges in the Rotterdam metropolitan area, including ESG, digitalization, financing issues, and risk management. With a strong focus on companies in the port, industry, energy, and logistics sectors, Caroline contributes 20 years of relevant experience to the firm.

Her roles at the Port of Rotterdam and Schiphol Airport have given her unique insights into the dynamics of these sectors. In addition, as a Member of the European Parliament, she actively contributed to European legislation in the areas of transport, economy, trade, and sustainability. She was, among other things, a negotiator on legislation for alternative fuels infrastructure. The combination of her political and business expertise makes her a valuable sparring partner for companies operating in an international and politically complex environment. Her pragmatic approach and extensive knowledge enable her to act quickly and provide effective solutions to the challenges companies face.
