Dennis Baanvinger

Dennis is a management team member of Audit Quality Professional Practice in the Netherlands and responsible for Monitoring & Measurement. His unit safeguards audit quality through monitoring the heartbeat of KPMG: the data flows. The unit uses a data-driven approach on monitoring audit quality indicators to discover trends and risks (‘Check’) and to work with other audit quality units to action those (‘Act’). 

He drives audit quality in the audit practice by using data analysis and innovative new solutions. He has a background as an external auditor and over 30 years of (audit)experience in the ICT sector. Prior to joining the management team of Audit Quality Professional Practice, he worked for the international innovation and development center of KPMG in the US for four years and was a management teammember of the Digital Assurance & Innovation department.
