Coming from an academic background in Artificial Intelligence, Alexander is currently part of the Trusted Analytics team for KPMG in the Netherlands
Alexander reviews Artificial Intelligence applications for our clients, and advices clients on how to achieve trust in advanced analytics and complex algorithms (AI In Control), addressing both the technological and organizational aspects of AI governance, risk, and compliance.
Alexander worked as a senior researcher and teacher in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam, participating in a large number of research & development projects with public sector and business partners from all over the EU. Alexander has a long list of scientific publications about artificial intelligence and data management topics to his name. At KPMG Alexander’s focus is on translating general principles of trustworthiness like resilience, integrity, explainability and fairness into workable propositions for the development of solid data management practices and artificial intelligence solutions.
