KPMG in Malaysia has recently appointed Dr Veerinderjeet Singh as the firm’s Senior Advisor on Tax Policy, effective 1 March 2024. Dr Veerinderjeet brings over 40 years of experience in tax, including his appointment by the Ministry of Finance in Malaysia as part of the Tax Reform Committee from 2018 to 2020.
Expressing his warm welcome, Datuk Johan Idris, Managing Partner, said, “Dr Veerinderjeet started his career at KPMG and this appointment is a welcomed home coming. As a Senior Advisor for the firm, he’ll be supporting KPMG and the wider business community in managing the increasingly complicated tax landscape.
