      Introduction of Section 106A in the Income Tax Act, 1967

      The honourable Minister of Finance, YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul bin Tengku Abdul Aziz, tabled the 2022 Budget on 29 October 2021.

      In addition to the much anticipated Special Voluntary Disclosure Programme (“SVDP”) for indirect tax, a few proposals were announced covering amongst others Import Duty, Excise Duty, Sales Tax, Service Tax and Tourism Tax.
