Eric Ong Beng Seng

Eric has more than 20 years of experience in KPMG, coordinating and managing complex audit, initial public offering, due diligence and corporate exercise assignment. His industry exposure covers industrial and consumer products, food and beverage, retails, oil and gas (downstream), and media.

He was the Partner in charge of audit methodology for KPMG’s audit practice in Malaysia from 2011 to 2021. In this role, he led the roll-out of audit methodology and deployment of audit tools firmwide as part of the firm’s relentless commitment to audit quality.

Eric was also the Asia Pacific Head of Audit Learning & Development from Oct 2017 to Sept 2019.

He led the inception of KPMG’s Data & Analytics practice in Malaysia in 2016 and took charge of the deployment of data analytics in audit for Malaysia.

Additionally, in 2021, Eric was appointed as an Executive Committee (EXCO) member with the Head of People role, overseeing the people, performance and culture for KPMG in Malaysia.
