KPMG in Malaysia presents the FY2025 update of our Our Impact Plan report, highlighting our progress in advancing our Sustainability commitments and targets, and our continued efforts to create positive outcomes across our business and communities.
Our Sustainability approach is guided by four pillars – Governance, People, Planet and Prosperity. This approach is part of our broader Impact journey, which began in 2021 when KPMG International invested more than USD 1.5 billion over three years to embed Sustainability across the firm. As we progress towards our 2030 ambitions, we continue to strengthen our sustainability commitments and targets through collective action across the firm.
Covering the period from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025, the report captures progress across all KPMG offices in Malaysia. It highlights key initiatives and milestones, including our decarbonization efforts, social impact initiatives, sustainability governance practices and the responsible adoption of technology to support sustainable growth.
FY2025 marks further progress in strengthening our disclosure of sustainability-related risks and opportunities, with reference to the IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 Standards. This continued focus strengthens governance, transparency and accountability, while embedding sustainability considerations more systematically into our risk assessment and strategic decision-making processes.
