      Pindstrup – a global leader in the professional growing media market – has acquired Compaqpeat, one of the leading peat and substrate producers. KPMG in Latvia acted as Compaqpeat’s exclusive M&A sell-side and legal advisor. Read more about the transaction here.

      Beijer Ref (2025)

      KPMG in Latvia and KPMG in Sweden acted as buy-side advisors and carried out financial due diligence of Airwave, resulting in Beijer Ref acquiring an 80% equity stake in Airwave. Read more about the transaction here.

      Danish Sun Energy ApS (2025)

      Danish Sun Energy ApS has completed the sale of its 100% shareholding in the Latvian project company SIA DSE Lazas Solar, which is developing one of the largest planned solar PV generation projects in Latvia. KPMG in Latvia’s Deal Advisory team provided advisory support in the execution of the sale transaction.       Latvenergo (2025)

      AS Latvenergo acquired the “Pienava” project from the Swedish renewable energy developer Eolus – currently the largest wind park project in Latvia. KPMG in Latvia provided financial and tax due diligence as well as valuation services in connection with the acquisition of the project.

      Gemoss (2025)

      Hospitality sector company Gemoss, with the support of KPMG’s M&A teams in Latvia and Lithuania, acquired 100% of the shares in the Lithuanian company Sangaida

      HS Timber Group (2025)

      KPMG’s combined financial and tax advisory team in Latvia, together with relevant KPMG office teams in Austria, assisted client HS Timber Group in the acquisition of one of the largest wood processing companies in the Baltics – Kurekss SIA – as well as the wood pellet manufacturing company Kurzemes Granulas SIA.       HS Timber Group (2025)

      With the support of KPMG in Latvia’s deal and tax advisory team, HS Timber Group, one of Europe’s largest wood processing companies, acquired 100% of the shares in SIA Vika Wood from the Swedish company AB Bergs Timber. Read more about the transaction here.

      Latvenergo (2024)

      With the support of KPMG in Latvia, AS Latvenergo entered into an agreement with the Danish green energy developer Danish Sun Energy ApS to acquire 100% of the equity interest in SIA DSE Aizpute Solar

      Rīgas Meži (2024)

      KPMG conducted a pre-sale analysis and executed the sale process for the divestment of the Norupe sawmill owned by SIA Rīgas Meži to SIA Stiga RM.

      Tele2 (2024)

      KPMG Estonia team conducted market analysis and identified potential acquisition targets in line with Tele2 acquisition criteria, including in-depth assessment of selected companies.

      Project Quest (2024)

      KPMG Lithuania team supported capital raising for a publicly listed Baltic real estate developer and investor.

      L.J. Linen (2023)

      KPMG supported L.J. Linen in corporate bond issuance on First North (Riga), including process coordination and preparation of the bond investment prospectus. Engagement was completed together with Signet Bank.

      KPMG also provided financial, tax and legal due diligence services covering a group of companies operating across Europe, Asia and Africa.

      Mirova (2023)

      KPMG Estonia team supported Mirova S.A. in the acquisition of renewable energy producer Sunly OÜ for EUR 200 million. More about the transaction here.

      Gaso (2023)

      KPMG supported the sale process of natural gas distribution system operator AS Gaso, a subsidiary of AS Latvijas Gāze, to the Estonian company AS Eesti Gaas.

      Evecon (2023)

      KPMG Estonia team led the sale process of a 55 MW construction-ready (RtB) solar energy portfolio located in Latvia.

      AVS Latvija (2023)

      KPMG advised and structured financing for the management buyout of SIA AVS Latvija, a leading supplier of road signs and safety poles in Latvia.

      Integrum (2023)

      KPMG supported the sale process of SIA Integrum, one of Latvia’s leading investment management companies.

      CLT Profi (2023)

      KPMG advised SIA CLT Profi, a leading Northern European manufacturer of cross-laminated timber panels, on the acquisition of SIA Cross Timber Systems from SIA Skonto Group.

      Pepi Rer (2023)

      KPMG supported SIA Pepi Rer through market analysis, investor outreach and transaction structuring in the sale process to investors SIA Draugiem Capital and AS BaltCap.

      Fausto Capital (2022)

      KPMG Estonia team supported Fausto Capital in the acquisition of construction company Vilcon Ehitus.

      Ape Motors (2021)
