KPMG was selected for UK PACT funding under the UK PACT Country Programs funded by the UK Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to design and develop the National OffGrid Solar Electrification Program Document to support the Kenya National Electrification Strategy (KNES) to achieve universal electrification by the end of 2022. This project is to achieve 2.18 million electricity connections through standalone solar systems with the involvement of the private sector.
