Andrew Nekuse

Andrew joined KPMG Uganda through the firm’s graduate recruitment programme and spent seven years in the Audit Business unit serving public sector and Telecom audit clients, before transitioning to Advisory. With over 20 years of experience, Andrew has spent the last 15 years serving Advisory clients mainly in Rwanda. He provides leadership for Advisory business in Rwanda and Tanzania. He has previously served as Resident Director for KPMG in Rwanda from 2018 to 2021.

Andrew has a diverse skill set that includes public sector reforms, technical assistance and institutional strengthening, third party monitoring and assurance, fund management, financial reporting, audits, gap analysis, internal control reviews, risk management, due diligence and organisational assessments. He has extensive experience supporting public financial management and institutional reforms and capacity building within the public sector.
