Andrew joined KPMG Uganda through the firm’s graduate recruitment programme and spent seven years in the Audit Business unit serving public sector and Telecom audit clients, before transitioning to Advisory. With over 20 years of experience, Andrew has spent the last 15 years serving Advisory clients mainly in Rwanda. He is a Partner within the International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) unit and provides leadership for Advisory business in Rwanda and Tanzania. He has previously served as Resident Director for KPMG in Rwanda from 2018 to 2021.

Andrew has a diverse skill set that includes public sector reforms, technical assistance and institutional strengthening, third party monitoring and assurance, fund management, financial reporting, audits, gap analysis, internal control reviews, risk management, due diligence and organizational assessments. He has extensive experience supporting public financial management and institutional reforms and capacity building within the public sector.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Statistics degree from Makerere University. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and is affiliated with professional accounting bodies in Rwanda and Burundi. He previously served for two terms as a member of Governing Board of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda.
