Wilson is a qualified accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Makerere University Kampala. He also holds a Masters Degree from Edinburgh Business School. He is a member of ICPAR (institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda) and a Fellow of the Association of Charted Certified Accountants (FCCA). Wilson is currently the Country Director, KPMG Rwanda. He relocated from KPMG USA to KPMG East Africa after completing a successful inter-office rotational program.
He has over 18 years of experience, all gained at KPMG. He has handled a number of significant audit, tax and advisory clients in different sectors both in the USA and East Africa. Wilson has vast experience in servicing of key Corporations and multinational Companies across various industries including but not limited to banks, insurance industry, pension funds, consumer industries and public sector. He has also handled specialized assignments such as risk advisory assignments, due diligence reviews, mergers and acquisitions and discontinued operations.
