      Position Summary

      The role is responsible for supporting the finance team with accounting tasks while also handling general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.

      Key roles and responsibilities

      Finance roles

      • Manage petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
      • Supplier reconciliations and addressing any pending issues.
      • Timely payments for expense claims, various consultants, suppliers, and office utilities as per SLA.
      • Perform bank reconciliation and other financial transactions on a regular basis.
      • Record financial transactions
      • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
      • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
         

      Administration roles

      • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
      • Assist in the planning and execution of company events, meetings, and training sessions.
      • Prepare and distribute internal communications, reports, and meeting agendas.
      • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and document deliveries.
      • Support the risk management processes i.e., World checks
      • Handle statutory requirements/renewal i.e., Tax Clearance (TCC), Rwanda Social Security, Board (RSSB) RDB registration renewals, National Bank accreditation, etc.
      • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.


      Academic/Professional qualifications and Experience:

      • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or any other business-related degree
      • A CPA or ACCA Qualification is preferred
      • At least 1-2 years of experience in a finance-related role.
