International Tax Review誌は税務および移転価格に関するグローバルな専門誌であり、同誌が2006年から顕彰するAsia Tax Awardsは、今回で8回目の開催となります（開催年は2006年～2010年、2016年～2018年）。

KPMG税理士法人は、2017年1月～12月の1年間、クライアントに対して包括的かつ革新的な税務アドバイスを提供した実績が評価され、「Japan Tax Firm of the Year」を受賞しました。これは、OECDによる新国際課税ルールの導入により多国籍企業におけるグローバル税務マネジメント体制の構築が喫緊の課題となる中、販促・人材メディア事業を提供するグローバル企業の税務部門主導によるクロスボーダー組織再編プロジェクト支援や、大手製造業グループにおける自由貿易協定を活用した関税コストの大幅削減、税務ITツールを駆使した大手総合商社への効率的かつ迅速な国際税務アドバイスの提供など、KPMG税理士法人のアドバイザーとしての実績が高く評価されたことによるものです。

KPMGのアジア太平洋地域におけるTaxグループは、今回の「Japan Tax Firm of the Year」をはじめ、2016、2017年に引き続き「Asia Tax Firm of the Year」を3年連続で受賞するなど、選考対象となった税務および会計事務所などの中で最多となる21部門（2017年は13部門で最多受賞）での受賞となりました。

We are proud to announce that International Tax Review （ITR） magazine has selected KPMG Tax Corporation （Minato-ku, Tokyo, Senior Partner: Yuichi Komakine） as the 2018 Japan Tax Firm of the Year at the Asia Tax Awards.

This continues the firm’s success after it won the same award in 2017.
ITR is a global specialized journal on taxation and transfer pricing, and the Asia Tax Awards were held for the eighth time since 2006 this year （from 2006 to 2010, from 2016 to 2018）.

The firm was recognized for providing comprehensive and innovative tax advisory services during 2017 in Japan. As the OECD has introduced new international taxation rules recently, the establishment of a global tax management system in multinational companies is an urgent management issue and KPMG’s involvement to support clients facing the challenge was highly valued, especially a cross-border reorganization project led by the HQ Tax department of a Japanese global company in the sales promotion and human resources media business; a project to achieve a substantial reduction in tariff costs by utilizing Free Trade Agreements in a major manufacturing group; and the provision of efficient and prompt international tax advice to a major general trading house making full use of tax IT tools demonstrated KPMG’s skills and capabilities.
