KPMG is proud to continue its longstanding collaboration with the Royal Ulster Academy (RUA), Northern Ireland’s leading visual arts institution since 1879. Now in its 18th year, our partnership underscores a shared commitment to fostering creativity and innovation across the region.

This year’s annual exhibition at the Ulster Museum features nearly 350 works spanning painting, sculpture, ceramics and textiles by artists from across the island of Ireland and beyond.

KPMG’s private preview  of the exhibition on 15 October welcomed our clients, for an exclusive first look. The exhibition is now open to the public and runs until early January.

      KPMG Young Artist Award 2025

As part of our sponsorship KPMG sponsors the Young Artist Award. Each year the winner is chosen by KPMG staff.

This year’s winner was Alana Barton, as chosen by our staff. Alana is an Irish painter based at Queen St Studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Her work explores memory, identity, and youth, often drawing from found and familial objects. Inspired by folklore, she combines figurative and abstract elements to create layered scenes where memory and reality merge.

A big congratulations to all the finalists.

      Alana Barton and Johnny Hanna
