      Since their launch, the FS Awards have recognised many of the organisations and individuals driving innovation and excellence across Ireland's financial services sector.

      The awards have become a benchmark for achievement, highlighting best practice and celebrating those making a significant impact within their organisations and the wider industry.

      The 2025 FS Awards showcased the breadth of innovation across the sector, with winners recognised across areas including artificial intelligence, regulation, customer experience, employee engagement, fintech innovation and sustainable finance. Organisations recognised included:

      Pádraig Ó hUiginn Outstanding Contribution to Financial Services Award

      A highlight of the FS Awards programme is the prestigious Pádraig Ó hUiginn Outstanding Contribution to Financial Services Award, proudly sponsored by KPMG.

      Named in honour of Pádraig Ó hUiginn, one of the key architects behind the establishment of Ireland's International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), the award recognises individuals who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the development of the financial services sector in Ireland and internationally.

      The award celebrates exceptional leadership, vision and impact, recognising individuals whose contributions have helped shape the industry and strengthen Ireland's position on the global financial services stage.

      Recent recipients have included:

      • Philip Lane, Chief Economist of the European Central Bank, who received the award in 2025.
      • Colm Kelleher, Chairman of UBS Group AG, who has been announced as the 2026 recipient in recognition of his distinguished international career and contribution to financial services.

      The FS Awards 2026 will take place on 22 October 2026 at the Round Room, Mansion House, Dublin, bringing together leaders from across the financial services community for an evening dedicated to recognising excellence and celebrating achievement.

      The awards are open to organisations, teams and individuals operating across the financial services sector, with categories recognising excellence in areas such as:

      • Payments Innovation

      • Wealth Management

      There is no cost to enter, and organisations of all sizes are encouraged to submit nominations showcasing their achievements and impact.
