Ireland has lots of incredible sporting talent. And at KPMG, we’re proud to support three of these amazingly talented stars - champion golfer Leona Maguire, trailblazing jockey Rachael Blackmore, and record-breaking sprinter Rhasidat Adeleke.
To celebrate our sponsorship of Leona, Rachael and Rhasidat, we are proud to share the 'Inspiring The Future' advertising campaign in collaboration with the Austin, Texas based advertising agency, ButterCo. The campaign celebrates KPMG's sponsorship of these three elite athletes — and highlights their status as role models in Irish sport who inspire us with their exceptional performances.
Leona Maguire
Champion golfer
Leona Maguire, the celebrated Irish golfer, is now a major player at the elite end of women’s professional golf. She has secured 21 career top 10 finishes, two LPGA Tour victories and more recently Leona became the first Irish Woman to win on the Ladies European Tour at the Aramco Team Series in Hemel Hempstead London.
Leona is set to show case her exceptional talent on home soil this August at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open. With the strongest field yet, the tournament will take place on the iconic O’Meara Course at Carton House, Co. Kildare from 29 August – 1 September.
Leona’s dedication and natural enthusiasm encourages young girls to believe that anything is possible on the golf course.
Rhasidat Adeleke
Record-breaking sprinter
Rhasidat Adeleke, the dynamic Irish sprinter, has already made a lasting impact in the world of athletics. She announced her arrival on the international stage with a series of gold medal victories, breaking new ground as the first Irish woman to cross the under 50-second threshold in the 400 metres.
Having only turned professional in 2023, Rhasidat’s performance in 2024 so far has earned her the title of Ireland's fastest female athlete and one of Ireland’s most exciting stars, her future is filled with promise and potential.
Rachael Blackmore
Trailblazing jockey
Rachael Blackmore, the pioneering Irish jockey, has made history in the world of horse racing. Her stellar performance at the Cheltenham Festival 2024 captured the world's attention with two extraordinary victories. Her defining moment came when she became the first female jockey to clinch the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
Rachael's journey, which began in the stands at Cheltenham, shows that following your dreams can result in them coming true.
