As a long-term supporter for women’s sport in Ireland, KPMG is proud to have Irish sprinting sensation, Rhasidat Adeleke, as a KPMG ambassador.
Rhasidat finished her first year as a professional with a strong third-place finish in her last Diamond League event in Brussels in September. Having only turned professional in 2023, Rhasidat’s performance in 2024 has made her one of Ireland’s most exciting star athletes.
Rhasidat is making history in Ireland as she now holds all national sprint records across 60m – 400m and is officially Ireland’s fastest woman.
Making a significant impact in Paris this year, Rhasidat qualified for the women’s 400m and women’s 4x400m relay. Becoming the first Irish woman to qualify for a sprint final, her phenomenal performance placed her fourth in the fastest Olympic final ever.
Enjoying great success at the European Athletics Championships, Rhasidat won her first senior individual medal, winning silver in the women’s 400m. Alongside her teammates- Rhasidat won gold in the 4x400m mixed relay, as Ireland earned its first European gold since 1998. Following on from this, Rhasidat was a part of the women’s 4x400m relay team who claimed silver in the European Championships.
KPMG are very proud of Rhasidat’s achievements to date, and we’re excited to support Rhasidat for her next season and beyond.
