As a long-term supporter for women’s sport in Ireland, KPMG is proud to have Irish sprinting sensation, Rhasidat Adeleke, as a KPMG ambassador.

Having only turned professional in 2023, Rhasidat’s performance in 2024 has made her one of Ireland’s most exciting star athletes. Rhasidat is officially Ireland’s fastest female athlete, ever and is still a rising star heading to Paris 2024. At only 21 years old, Rhasidat holds all National sprint records over 100m, 200m and 400m in both indoor and outdoor.

In July, Rhasidat won her first Diamond League medal in the women’s 400m in Monaco, where she clocked a time of 49.17 seconds. A huge accomplishment as she ran alongside world and Olympic champions to win gold. In what was Ireland’s most successful European Athletics Championships, Rhasidat blazed her way to win her first senior championship individual medal in the women’s 400m, racing to a superb silver and clocking a time of 49.07 seconds.

Rhasidat has been consistently adding to her medal collection throughout 2024, and inspiring future generations with her top-class performances. It’s set to be a big year for Rhasidat and KPMG will be proudly supporting her on her journey.
