She advises private and public sector clients in a broad range of industries on pension matters. As part of this she provides independent advice to corporates in respect of their pension obligations. From time to time she provides pension advice to high net worth clients and charities. Joanne oversees specialist pension input to audit clients of the Firm and on buy-side and sell-side deals to local and international transaction service teams. She has worked on a number of multi-disciplinary engagements with risk consulting, management consulting and taxation and international pension colleagues.
Joanne is a long standing member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland pension committee, the Society of Actuaries in Ireland representative on the International Actuarial Association (IAA) Pensions Benefits Accounting Sub-Committee. She is one of the Minister’s nominees on the Pension Council which was set up to provide advice to the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection.
