Johnny is a qualified Programme and Project Manager | Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years post-graduate experience, the majority of which, is delivering major capital programmes and projects in Ireland, Australia, and the UK.
Johnny is experienced in managing a programme of projects across all project life cycle phases on both client and consultancy sides. Prior to joining KPMG, he has 16 years expertise in contract, commercial, risk, schedule, scope, stakeholder, procurement, and project/programme management.
Johnny has broad experience in different forms of procurement and contract strategies including Traditional, D&B, Alliance, and Deliver Partner. He has successfully delivered projects and programmes under NEC Engineering Construction Contract (ECC) by determining which main option is most applicable to the project scope and companies risk strategy.
His current role is an Associate Director in Government and Infrastructure team based full-time in Dublin. He specialises in Major Project Advisory (MPA) services and has strong links to KPMG’s global network.
He specialises in advising on industry best-practices to successfully deliver any major portfolio, programme or project (P3M) across many sectors, including Transportation (roads, rail and aviation), Healthcare, Data Centres, and Energy.
Through his in-depth transportation experience, he has the ability to create effective solutions on major programmes and projects including innovative sustainable propositions, assurance on delivery, infrastructure regulation, and enhancements to governance and PMO environments.
