We encourage our people to come together, collaborate and connect with their communities to make a difference, giving our colleagues a greater sense of purpose and meaning which contributes to their personal and professional development.
Here's what we've been doing
While our focus area is UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education, with a particular emphasis on Lifelong Learning, we know that everyone has individual areas of interest and that volunteering is about personal choice. So, our policy is to support our people in supporting their communities in a way that matters to them.
Our people can get involved in a range of programmes including:
- Educational initiatives with local disadvantaged schools including to Time to Read, Time to Count and our Secondary School Mentor Programme
- Literacy programmes with Children’s Books Ireland, NCI’s Early Learning Initiative, Fighting Words and Kinia
- Inclusion Diversity & Equity projects with Children’s Books Ireland like BOLD GIRLS and FREE TO BE ME
- Business centric programmes for Primary and Secondary Schools with Junior Achievement Ireland
- National Council of the Blind Befriending Programme
- STEM Passport for Inclusion Mentor Programme
- Accountancy Grinds in a local disadvantaged secondary school
- Employment programmes for marginalised jobseekers with Business in the Community Ireland and Generation X
- And much more!
Team volunteer days
We work charities to facilitate team volunteer days, where groups from across the firm get together to make a difference in the community with their teammates.
We’re proud to partner with organisations like St. Michael’s House, An Taisce Clean Coasts, DSPCA, Flossie & The Beach Cleaners, Ronald McDonald House and Friends of the Elderly, among others.
