Since joining KPMG in 1999, Ágnes Rakó has gained extensive professional and leadership expertise. She began her career in Audit and later moved into Advisory, becoming Co-Head of the Advisory business unit in 2024. She has played a key role in developing and bringing numerous strategic service lines to market, while supporting the firm’s growth and continuous transformation. Over the years, she has led and expanded a broad range of professional teams and services, including financial risk management, accounting advisory, internal audit, sustainability services, outsourcing solutions, and advisory services related to artificial intelligence. During the regional selection and appointment process, her diverse professional and leadership experience was a decisive factor in her appointment as CEO.
Rakó’s leadership philosophy has always been guided by a commitment to quality, values- and performance-based decision-making, and fostering a culture of collaboration. She places strong emphasis on innovation, data-driven operations, and digital transformation. Over the past decade, she has played a significant role in advancing the firm’s sustainability, responsibility, and diversity initiatives. Under her leadership, KPMG’s Diversity Group was established, and for many years she has served as an ambassador for the firm’s Responsible Society Program. In 2025, in recognition of her exemplary work she received the BCSDH Sustainable Future Award in the “Leading Woman” category.

Rezső Rózsai, who is moving into a regional leadership position, joined KPMG Hungary in 1997 as a graduate entrant. He became Head of Audit in 2014 and was appointed CEO in 2019. He is an active member of Hungary’s business and leadership community: he’s a board member of the Joint Venture Association and the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum (HBLF), where he also acts as a mentor.
Emphasizing the importance of business ethics and corporate culture, several KPMG initiatives are associated with his leadership, including the Manager of the Year for Business Culture Special Award, created jointly by KPMG and the Hungarian Management Association, as well as the KPMG Fair Play Award linked to the Blue Ribbon Round the Lake Balaton Race. In recognition of his outstanding social and community contributions, he received the Budapest Business Journal CEO Community Award in March 2026.
