As of October 1, six new partners will bolster KPMG in Hungary. Three partner promotions have been announced in the Audit department, two new partners in Tax & Legal, and one colleague appointment in the Advisory practice.

Bajusz Ádám

Ádám Bajusz 
Audit – Industry, trading

A Chartered Accountant and ACCA qualified, Ádám has worked at KPMG since 2003. Mainly involved in auditing companies in the manufacturing, trading and real estate sectors, he specializes in auditing individual and consolidated accounts prepared in accordance with the Hungarian Accounting Act, IFRS and HGB.

Gódor Mihály

Mihály Gódor 
Tax & Legal – Transfer pricing

A registered tax expert and forensic expert registered with the Ministry of Justice, Mihály started his career at KPMG in 2005 in Tax Advisory and has been leading the Transfer Pricing team since 2013. He has significant professional experience in providing Tax Advisory services to international groups of companies on transfer pricing, transfer pricing accounting, planning and structuring services, and is regularly involved in tax representation before tax authorities, tax proceedings, litigation and successful coordination of advance pricing assessment (APA) applications. He has industry-specific knowledge across a range of industries, particularly in the IT, automotive, energy and financial sectors.

Lukács Kornél

Kornél Lukács  
Advisory – Technology, Cyber Security

Kornél joined KPMG in 2018 as a director, leading the cyber practice and technology and project management consulting teams. Under his leadership, the cyber practice has achieved significant growth in the last three years, both domestically and internationally, and has become a recognized member within the KPMG in CEE region. He has a degree in economics. During his career, he has managed the quality assurance of significant and complex IT and information security projects in a wide range of industries, with a focus on banking and telco. His areas of expertise include implementation of IT and information security solutions/systems, system and vendor selection; development of IT and information security strategies, organization and process design.

Nagy Zsuzsanna

Zsuzsanna Nagy 
Audit – Banking and ESG

Zsuzsanna joined KPMG in 1996. In her work as a director, she has primarily managed annual and other specialized audits of internationally owned banks, financial companies, manufacturing, service and trading companies. In the future, Zsuzsanna will, in addition to her current responsibilities, play a greater role in leading the audits of banks and investment funds as an Audit partner in the financial sector, as well as dealing with ESG from an audit perspective.

Simonyi Albert

Albert Simonyi 
Audit – Shared Service Centers

Albert, who joined KPMG in 2003, has made an invaluable contribution to making the Hungary practice the center of competence for service center auditing (SSC) within the KPMG network of firms. He has actively supported the development of the business by assisting several major international deals. In addition, as COO of the Audit business, he was responsible for key areas of that area's operations. In the future, he will continue to support the Global Statutory Audit Center of Excellence, retaining both roles.

Srankó Zsolt

Zsolt Srankó 
Tax & Legal – Indirect Tax

A lawyer and certified tax adviser, Zsolt has been a Tax advisor since 2007 and has led KPMG's Indirect Tax team since 2019. He has extensive experience in Tax Consulting and Tax Administration services and is a recognized expert in transaction tax planning, tax process development and the implementation of VAT technology solutions. Over the past six years, he has played a prominent role in the development of KPMG's Indirect Tax Advisory services. Since June 2019, he has led this service line, helping to drive significant growth through the development of several new client relationships and new services.
