KPMG in Hungary

Since January 2023, Julianna has been coordinating KPMG's ESG and sustainability services for non-financial companies, as well as KPMG's sustainability working group. Julianna holds the BIB - Budapest Institute of Banking international ESG consultant certificate. She completed her studies at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food Science and Environmental Management of the University of Debrecen in the field of conservation engineering. She joined the company in 2017, for five years she participated in the audit of the EU-funded agricultural and rural development payments under the framework of the annual certification audits aimed at the Hungarian EAGF/EAFRD Paying Agency, where both the system controls and implementation of the individual measures are investigated. She was also a member of the team responsible for the pre-accreditation, supervisory and other consulting services requested by the Competent Authority. Furthermore, since she joined the company, she has participated in ex-ante assessments in line with the ISAE 3000 and advisory services for clients both from the financial and non-financial sector. Before KPMG she worked as a project manager at the Brussels based non-profit European Landowners’ Organization, where she gained international experience in conducting European Union projects related to the role of the agricultural sector in sustainability.
