Julianna Nagy
Director
KPMG in Hungary
Julianna graduated from the University of Debrecen with a degree in environmental engineering. After obtaining her master's degree, she lived and worked in Brussels for six years, where she gained international experience in the implementation of European Union projects related to the role of the agricultural sector in sustainability and in the development of European Union policies. She is currently one of the leaders of KPMG's sustainability and ESG team, helping our corporate clients navigate the maze of sustainability requirements by encouraging them to take advantage of the opportunities inherent in these expectations and to go beyond basic regulatory compliance to create space for their sustainability goals, integrating them organically into their business strategy, decision-making mechanisms, and corporate culture. Julianna joined KPMG's EU assurance services team in 2017 and has been working exclusively on sustainability-related topics since 2023. Her work has included ISAE3000-based ex-ante assessments and assurance engagements, as well as sustainability consulting services for financial institutions, manufacturing companies, and international civil society organizations. Julianna regularly publishes, teaches, and gives interviews, primarily on topics related to sustainability regulation.
