      Kristóf has been engaged in tax advisory services since 2019, having started his career at KPMG. He is currently a Manager in the Indirect Tax, Customs and Trade Compliance team, with more than seven years of experience in comprehensive VAT, customs and trade compliance projects across a wide range of industries.

      His professional focus lies in complex indirect tax, customs and trade compliance matters, with a particular emphasis on ESG‑driven regulatory frameworks such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Kristóf has supported manufacturing companies in designing and implementing CBAM compliance processes, including data-flow mapping, allocation of responsibilities, and practical guidance on reporting and documentation requirements. In addition, he has provided end‑to‑end advisory support to one of the leading retail chains in Hungary in implementing the full EUDR compliance framework, from risk assessment and due diligence processes to the setup of internal controls and ongoing monitoring.

      Kristóf’s experience also covers assisting clients in tax and customs authority procedures and litigation (including before the Court of Justice of the European Union), comprehensive tax, customs and trade compliance advisory engagements, as well as support with technology‑driven solutions and process design.
