“Four years ago, I began my professional journey at KPMG with no prior experience in Audit. I still remember that feeling of stepping into the unknown; I wasn’t entirely sure what an auditor actually did. Sometimes I pause and look back at how far I’ve gone since then. This journey has been shaped by people who invested in me, guided me, trusted me, and inspired me to keep improving.
That same spirit of support and collaboration is what I now try to pass on to younger colleagues. I want to see them grow, learn, and build their own paths within the firm. I deeply believe that success comes when we work as a team, when we help each other develop and jointly raise our quality and efficiency. That’s my personal 'why': to contribute to building a strong, united, and high-performing team.
Although I’m based in Thessaloniki, most of my projects involve clients in Athens. At first, I saw that as a disadvantage, but experience proved otherwise. With the shift to digital tools and KPMG’s modern audit platforms, remote auditing has become both efficient and creative. Location is no longer a barrier, if anything, it has strengthened our flexibility and teamwork.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about sports and a devoted basketball fan. A couple of years ago, my favorite team won the EuroLeague after 12 years of setbacks and defeats. Watching their perseverance and belief in their goal inspired me. Somehow, it clicked - to become a 'champion', you need effort, persistence, and faith in yourself. That same mindset motivates me to always give my best, in line with one of KPMG’s core values, Excellence.
For anyone just starting their career journey, my advice is simple; treat your work as if it were your own business. If you’re an auditor, think of every audit as if it is performed on your own company, and make sure everything runs just the way it should.”
