“My professional journey began with an internship at a bank, followed by a role in the retail sector in the provinces. Along the way, I completed studies in various fields such as Computer Science, Marketing, and Business Administration, which eventually led me to pursue a career in Digital Marketing, a field that perfectly combined my academic background with technology and creativity. With persistence and continuous learning, I started this new professional chapter from scratch, dedicating my limited free time to earning certifications in Digital Marketing. My goal was to successfully change career paths and seek new opportunities, both in a new field and in a new city, the capital.
Today, eight years after making that career shift, I’m proud to be working at KPMG as a Manager, collaborating with amazing people and professionals from international teams, in a field that truly inspires me. What keeps me motivated is the collaborative environment because although KPMG is a multinational organization, the human element remains at the heart of everything we do, regardless of hierarchy. In the field of Digital Marketing, we also have the opportunity to be part of large-scale digital transformation projects and to explore emerging tools such as Generative AI. Being part of a global organization like KPMG allows me to participate in creative projects that bring together teams from different countries and disciplines, from Project Managers and Developers to Data Analysts and other specialized professionals.
If I could offer one piece of advice to younger colleagues, it would be this; don’t be afraid to grow, even if it means changing direction. Embrace new challenges because through them, we learn, we become stronger, and we discover what truly suits us.”
