Fenia joined KPMG in 2014 as a Tax Advisor and made a career shift some years later to join the People Services Department. As part of that team, she focuses mainly on outplacement services and HR processes. She daily puts KPMG values into practice being a valuable and trusted colleague, a strong collaborator, a kind soul, and a trustworthy partner for internal and external clients.

"I started my journey at KPMG in 2014, beginning in the Tax Department, which for me was a true professional 'school.' That’s where I gained skills like methodical thinking, analysis, and attention to detail. But most importantly, I learned the value of human collaboration, building relationships that last to this day.

Over the years, I began to feel a desire to get closer to people. I wanted to see the organization not just through numbers, but through faces, needs, and evolving expectations. My internal move to the People Services Department, which focuses on HR consulting, felt like a natural progression. It wasn't a spontaneous decision; I had been thinking about it for a long time. And it was KPMG's culture itself, which supports and encourages internal mobility and the growth of its people, that encouraged me to make the next step.

Since then, I've had the chance to participate in various projects, from compensation and corporate governance to board member evaluations, process development, as well as career transition and consulting programs. Through this variety of experiences, I've connected with different teams, organizations, and most importantly, different people at various stages of their professional journeys. It was somewhere in there that I discovered a deep fulfillment in being there for those in a phase of change, especially when their next professional direction isn't always clear. That's how I found special meaning in Outplacement services. It's not just a service; it's an opportunity to truly support someone in their next step, during a time that combines uncertainty with the potential for something new.

Of course, it’s not all easy; there are demanding days, just like in any job. But in those moments, I find balance with my loved ones and, of course, with Suzy and Mari, my cats, who have become my most loyal 'support group'. They're my psychologists, my collaborators, and the most patient listeners to every thought of the day.

What keeps me grounded and gives meaning to my work is its essence: to genuinely be there for people during times of change, with honesty and empathy. Just like with my love for animals, which for me means selfless care and giving, supporting stray and vulnerable animals helps me stay connected to what I truly consider important: to offer help unconditionally, with authenticity and respect."
