His solid technical knowledge, combined with a proactive attitude and strong analytical skills, allowed him to integrate seamlessly into his new role. Dimitris has demonstrated the ability to support his teams effectively, contributing both to their efficiency and to the overall success of the engagements.

“About two years ago, I started a new chapter in my career at KPMG, leaving behind a very different environment, as I had been working in a charitable organization. It was a big decision, but for me, it felt like a natural progression. I wanted to work in a more demanding and structured environment, one that would push me out of my comfort zone and allow me to grow both professionally and personally.

The early days were full of new experiences: the pace, the deadlines, the projects. I quickly realized that every detail matters. All the challenges felt manageable because my team was always there, someone was ready to explain, to show, to say ‘Don’t worry, we’ve got this.’ That sense of support motivated me to always give a little extra.

Now, in my role as Senior Associate, I strive to balance completing our work accurately with supporting my team. Day-to-day responsibilities require coordination and constant communication with clients, but I always try to be present and help create an environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions, offering suggestions, and learning. After all, work is a team effort, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see colleagues grow while you grow alongside them.

To this day, there have been moments that confirmed I made the right choice in following this path. Like when a demanding project was successfully completed after many hours of work, and the client thanked us for our support and the team’s professionalism. Those are the moments when you feel proud not just of the outcome, but of the way you achieved it, with integrity, consistency, and respect for the people around you.

If I had to summarize what I’ve learned over these two years, it would be this; in Audit, success isn’t about knowing everything, it’s about being willing to keep learning and having people around you who believe in you as much as you believe in them.”
