Chrysa joined our Transfer Pricing team as an intern and soon after came on board as a full-time Associate. From day one, she stepped into her role with confidence, curiosity, and a great attitude. Always eager to learn, contribute, and support her colleagues, she quickly became a valuable part of the team, bringing fresh energy, asking the right questions and already making a positive impact.
"I started my professional journey as an intern in the Transfer Pricing team, filled with excitement, stress, and with Google as my constant companion. I acted like I knew what a “benchmarking study” was, even when I clearly didn’t. Transitioning into an Associate role has been a journey of learning, adapting, and celebrating small wins, like finally understanding how Excel functions work, or at least not being afraid of them anymore!
What impressed me the most was the team culture. From day one, I felt comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and even making mistakes, without being looked at like I just accidentally deleted the monthly report - true story, luckily, we had kept a copy! I’m part of a team where no question is considered silly. On the contrary, every question is seen as a chance to grow. And yes, I’ve asked a lot of them - so many that it’s basically become my trademark. I love the idea that each question may open a new door of knowledge, or at least save us from an audit!
Every day brings something new to learn, whether it’s about tax regulations or how to build the perfect pivot table without crashing Excel, or totally losing it in the process!
In just six months, I’ve already learned a lot, both on a technical level and beyond. What really stands out is how important it is to understand the 'why' behind each file, each number, each process, and how generous my colleagues are in sharing their knowledge. The team’s support, constant feedback, sometimes even through emojis on Teams, and spirit of collaboration have played a great part in my growth.
Learning here isn’t reserved for the 'experienced'. It’s a mindset we all share. And honestly, it’s made even better with the occasional sweet treat at the office. Because let’s be real, finding the right balance between Excel and chocolate is key to surviving!
I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Every day, I feel like I’m building something - knowledge, relationships, confidence. And I’m excited for what’s next. If this was just the beginning, then the best is definitely yet to come."
