Christos recently joined the team and currently serves as a Manager on Public Sector IT projects. Before joining KPMG Christos had very senior positions in Public Sector Authorities based on his deep expertise in systems and processes in the public sector and his strong commitment to the results. Since day one, he has adopted the new role with very strong outputs in all aspects of his work, including innovative ideas for business development, high quality of deliverables and coaching of younger team members. Beyond his technical skills, Christos is a great team player, passionate and always ready for the most challenging missions.

“For more than 20 years, I held key positions in public sector organizations, participating in large-scale IT projects that demanded a strong sense of responsibility and determination. I was always driven by the desire to find solutions, to set ambitious goals for what comes next, and to make sure that my work had a tangible impact on citizens, delivering with consistency and security, no matter how challenging that was at times.

Over the years, I realized that what truly suited me wasn’t just the technical aspect of the work, but also the responsibility that came with it, the willingness to step up when needed to make things move forward. That mindset is what has brought me to where I am today.

My transition to KPMG happened in a way I didn’t expect. When the opportunity first arose, I hesitated. But after the initial conversation, I realized that I didn’t have to leave behind what I already knew. Instead, I brought it all with me, and found people who respected it, welcomed me into the team, gave me space to speak, to propose, to lead. From the very first moment, I felt trusted, and trust isn’t something you just talk about, it’s something you see in action.

The values I carried with me, independence, accountability, and collaboration, were the same values I found at KPMG. That’s why I immediately felt I belonged here, without compromise. In the end, even though my perspective has shifted, as a Manager in Public Sector IT Advisory, the goal remains the same: to help improve the way organizations operate, in ways that have a real, positive impact on people’s everyday lives.

I believe that your true value grows when your work adds value to the organization you’re part of. The share of success that belongs to you will always come back to you, and you’ll know you’ve contributed to something meaningful.

If I could share one piece of advice with younger colleagues, it would be to take ownership, without fear and without self-interest. Listen carefully to the real needs of the client and respect the perspectives of your team. Only then can you truly reach the goals you’ve envisioned for yourself.”
