Find out about the services we offer clients and where your skills may be best suited.

Enjoy diverse challenges and share your ideas with other bright minds.

Audit provides insight, challenge and expertise to some of the world’s biggest companies. We make a meaningful difference to those businesses and the wider community, by examining organisations and ensuring that their published accounts provide a true and fair reflection of their financial position.

Join us on this programme and, as a graduate trainee, you’ll work on diverse and complex audit engagements, learning about all the components that make a successful business. You’ll have the opportunity to see the auditing process from a range of different perspectives, giving you a rounded view of the discipline and benefiting from learning that will last a lifetime. In fact, you’re laying the groundwork for a secure and long-lasting career.

Applying a questioning mind and critically assessing information that organisations provide, you’ll develop your skills to deliver independent insight, challenge and high-quality audit expertise. You’ll also play a big part in our continuous improvement of audit quality.

The work is challenging and rewarding. Throughout the programme you’ll have the support of your senior leaders, engagement leader, peers and the broader Audit community, enabling you to be at your best and build your network. It’s an inclusive environment, where you’ll have the support and backing of a diverse team. We’ll give you the skills, tools and intelligent systems you need to grow and learn. Increasingly, this will include the transformative power of AI, which we are embracing in a way that is values-driven, human-centric and trustworthy.

Over three years you’ll combine audit delivery and study to work toward the ACA professional qualification. The ACA qualification is recognised and respected worldwide. Our qualified ACAs who’ve stayed working in audit have gone on to become Managers, Senior Managers and Partners at KPMG in Gibraltar. Some have moved departments to Taxation and Advisory, progressing to become leaders within the firm and in industry worldwide.

Our office is based in Ocean Village, Gibraltar. However, whilst you will apply to a specific office location, you will likely be required to work flexibly across the region, at KPMG offices, engagement sites and with varying levels of home working. You will also take part in face to face study time with colleagues in the UK.

As part of the Audit team, you will be building friendships and shared experiences, innovating and learning together. Some travel is likely for audit work and because it’s seasonal, you should expect there to be busy times of the year.

What we look for

At KPMG, everyone brings a unique perspective, and we want to ensure that you have the best opportunity to demonstrate your potential. We want to discover your individual strengths and attributes to help us to know whether you’ll enjoy working here and how you’ll thrive. That’s why we operate an open access policy and an application process that will assess both your qualifications and your qualities.

Generally, you’ll be expected to demonstrate the following grades (*or equivalents), to show that you’re able to successfully study for professional qualifications. If you are a few grades or points short, we would still encourage you to apply, as your application will be reviewed together with your performance in our assessments. You‘ll also have the opportunity to provide additional information for us to assess your application and potential in the context of your socio-economic background and/or any extenuating circumstances, which may have a positive uplift on your academic achievements through contextual recruitment.
