He has also had the privilege of working across diverse markets, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to excellence in countries such as South Africa, Sierra Leone, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, and Malawi. His responsibilities have included developing audit strategies, coordinating audit teams, maintaining effective communication with client management, and presenting key findings.
Abeeku’s experience spans statutory audits, agreed-upon procedures, financial statement preparation, and systems and controls reviews. His leadership on engagements ensures quality delivery and alignment with client expectations, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
He is known for his commitment to excellence, technical proficiency, and ability to guide clients through complex financial landscapes. He is a fervent advocate for audit quality and is equally passionate about people development and providing strategic leadership. He is the Head of Audit Learning and Development (L&D) at KPMG in Ghana and has championed several initiatives to improve audit quality and has contributed significantly to the learning and development of staff within the Audit function at KPMG.
