Most people have probably noticed that ESG has become a large and highly relevant topic in the past couple of years. This means that companies can no longer avoid dealing with it to some extent because, even if they may not necessarily be subject to the new regulations from a legislative perspective, there is a likelihood that they will face demands from customers, partners or society.

Given that the new regulations are very data-driven, it implies that a greater amount of data needs to be collected than before. As reporting is also required, this place demands on the quality of the data. Initially, the rules require data auditing with a limited level of security. However, the expectation is that it will eventually be with a high level of security, which will require companies to focus on processes related to data collection and validation.

Like financial data, this will mean that internal controls will become necessary to implement for ESG data. This is the topic we will address during this webinar on 8 February 2024, where we will delve into how the process of collecting ESG data looks and provide a concrete example of the process.
