The KPMG Audit Trainee Programme
The KPMG Audit Trainee Programme is a 2-year programme aimed at developing your technical skills as an auditor. The Audit Trainee Programme starts with 2 weeks of audit technical training together with other trainees and assistants. The weeks will be concluded with an off-site onboarding trip for all trainees to get to know each other better and learn more about KPMG.
As an audit trainee in KPMG, you will receive a significant amount of work experience and you will learn a lot about yourself and your career development. You can apply to our Audit Trainee Programme if you have completed higher education.

Audit trainees at KPMG
As an audit trainee at KPMG, we will make sure that you have the best start of your career in Audit. You will receive audit technical training and personal training. Besides the internal training, you will be enrolled in an HD programme or study cand.merc.aud to learn the fundamentals of audit. At KPMG, you will always work in a team who help you develop and grow with hands-on experience while working together with our clients. This also gives you the chance to immediately apply what you have learned in your studies on real life client work.
On top of that, you will be assigned a mentor. He or she will be there to answer all your questions. You also get assigned a Koach, the KPMG equivalent of a performance manager, to help guide you and set you on the right course of your career. He or she will help you set and achieve your goals. Most importantly, you are always a part of a team at KPMG. Together, we will make sure you have the best education, experience, and development possible.

What is the difference between the KPMG Challenger Academy and KPMG Audit Trainee Programme?
It is a prerequisite to be enrolled in HD or cand.merc.aud and you should have graduated from HHX, STX, HA-almen, Finansøkonom- or Financial Controller education to be eligible for our Audit Trainee Programme. The KPMG Challenger Academy is for talents who are finished with a master’s degree.
